What is true love? Nobody knows for sure. Some chemical reaction, or something more spiritual than that?<\/p>\n

When I was small I honestly thought that you meet the man of your dreams, instantly fall madly in love with each other, get married, have tons of kids, a dog and a cat, and you live happily ever after, walking off into the sunset hand in hand. Till death do us apart.<\/p>\n

Was I wrong!
\nDoes it even exists?
\nDo know that a few lucky ones will get to meet in this life, their final one, and finish their cycle on earth together.
\nThose are the ones who still hold hands after 40 years of marriage, sharing almost all of their thoughts with each other.<\/p>\n

Couple of days ago on the tube listened in on an old couple\u2019s conversation by accident. Spent 10 minutes on discussing whether she lost the pen, or left it on the desk in the hotel room\u2026.I was so close to interrupt them, who talks this much about a bloody pen?
\nBut after looking at the old gentleman\u2019s face I realised that he is really listening to her, with love in his eyes\u2026.He really cared.<\/p>\n

Now had this be my case, A. would have tuned out right at the beginning\u2026not even listening\u2026
\nMost of the time I have to repeat everything at least 3 times before any of it registers with him.<\/p>\n

Most of the men are like this. We should just accept them as they are. And maybe then, just then they will accept the way we are\u2026<\/p>\n

Our need for more intimacy, hugs and kisses without them\u00a0\u00a0leading to serious business ( \ud83d\ude42 ) every single time\u2026how we need to be listened to without actually offering an opinion or solving it for us.
\nProvide us with a shoulder to cry on, help us when when wood needs to be chopped, tyres need to be changed, dishes need to be washed, babies need to be soothed at night.<\/p>\n

Believe in us, support us, love us, in return we will love you forever an ever! Or till a better one comes around.<\/p>\n

No, sorry, I was just kidding\u2026<\/p>\n

We are a loyal bunch.<\/p>\n

So here are the male species in my life , the way I see them right now on this \u201cspecial\u201d day:<\/p>\n

-the one who just had a baby from someone else
\n-the one who doesn’t even feel like talking to me right now
\n-the father of my son who takes me for granted
\n-my son who loves me but like he said \u201c I cannot be your Valentine Mum.\u201d<\/p>\n

My best advice to you: \u00a0Just love yourself! You will never disappoint yourself, you will always be there for yourself, never cheat, lie or run away.<\/p>\n
